Raymond C. Bennett, 93, passed away Sunday, June 14, 2009, in Glasgow. He was a resident of Barren County, a member of Browder’s Chapel Church and a retired farmer. Raymond was deeply loved by many and brought joy to all those who knew him.
He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Dora M. Lewis Bennett; one sister, Mary Bennett Pedigo of Indiana; several nieces and nephews.
Raymond was preceded in death by his parents, Jake and Fannie Cooksey Bennett; two brothers, Roger and Jewell Bennett; and one sister, Leona Bennett Houchens.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Happy Valley Memorial Gardens. Friends may call after 5:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
