Madell T. Bagby, 80, Glasgow, died Friday, July 25, 2014, at her residence. A native of Barren County, she was a daughter of the late Henry T. and Minnie Myrtle Huff Staples. She was a retired assembler at SKF in Glasgow and a member of the First Church of God.

Survivors include two daughters: Jo Lynn Thomas Fritsch of Franklin and Gina Burks and her husband Tim of Glasgow; two granddaughters: Amber Westmoreland and husband Chuckie of Edmonton and Megan Thomas of Glasgow; four great grandchildren: Logan and Dylan Westmoreland and Daylan and Kaylee Thomas; two sisters: Bess Riddle of Glasgow and Peggy Polson of Scottsville; three brothers: Henry E. Staples, Milburn Staples, and Follis Staples all of Glasgow; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister: Mary Lois Perkins of Glasgow; and two brothers: Leroy Staples of Leitchfield and David Staples of Glasgow.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Friends may call after 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
