Gary “Gravy” Green, 42, Glasgow, passed away Friday, April 8, 2016, at his residence. The Barren County native was a mechanic at Taylor Auto Sales and an avid race car fan.
Survivors include his wife and soul mate Medina Kirn Green; four children: Micah Cross, Caban Green, Kaitie Green, and Miranda Miller; his mother and step-father: Patricia and Eric Rutherford; his father and step-mother: William and Amanda Green; his brothers and sisters: Cassandra Hare and husband Kevin, Nikki Crump and husband Jonathon, Amy Harwood and husband Shannon, Frankie Rutherford, Adam Rutherford, Erica Green and husband Sammy, Aaron Robertson, and Nick Brewster; his maternal grandmother: Virginia Bennett; his parents-in-law: Joe and LeeAnn Kirn; two sisters-in-law: Stacy Barker and husband Brian, and Angie Springer and husband Chris; his faithful companion: Jasper; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one brother: Phillip Sexton; his maternal grandfather: Charles Bennett; his paternal grandparents: Billy and Tootsie Dugard Green.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the New Salem Cemetery. Visitation will be after 3:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
