Robert “Bob” Wheeler
April 14, 1934 ~ July 3, 2006
James Robert “Bob” Wheeler, 72, of Hiseville died Monday, July 3, 2006 at the Glenview Health Care Facility. He was the son of the late Archie Garvin Wheeler and Mary Frances Mills Wheeler. He was a member of Salem Baptist Church and a veteran of the Korean War.
Survivors include one daughter: Glenda Shaw and her husband, Charles, of Hiseville; two sons: David Wheeler of Glasgow, and James Wheeler and his wife, Michelle, of Shady Grove; four grandchildren: Mike Bragg, Amanda Bowe, Natasha Wheeler and Kelly Overstreet; five great-grandchildren: Dakota Clark, McKay Bragg, Blake Clark, Trevor H. Bragg and Jenna Bowe; two brothers: William (Billy) Wheeler of Glasgow and Jerry D. Wheeler and his wife Jeannie of Hiseville; one sister: Wanda L. Morgan of Hiseville.
Preceded in death by his wife: Georgia Mae Warf Wheeler; on brother: Joe Wheeler; three sisters: Lois Rohrbough, Margaret Hagan and Mary Kettles.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, July 6, 2006, at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with Bro. Jim Seabolt officiating. Burial will be in the Hiseville Cemetery. Friends may call after 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
